Meet Dr. Bellemare

Dr. Bellemare graduated from Bowdoin College in 2004 and the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 2009. She then completed a year-long internship at VCA West Los Angeles Animal Hospital where she was awarded "intern of the year". Since then, Dr. Bellemare has been working in general practice in the Boston area and currently works part-time at Wayland Animal Clinic. Dr. Bellemare became certified in small animal medical acupuncture in 2022 to help reduce her patients' pain and improve their quality of life. She started WellPet Acupuncture, a mobile practice, shortly after becoming certified, to bring acupuncture and low-level laser services to pets in the comfort of their own home.

She lives in Weston with her husband, three young children and her cat, Cricket. She enjoys yoga, jogging, camping and traveling.
